Eri joined the CK team at the end of 2019, as an Account Director. We wanted to get to know her a little better with a Q&A!
What is your new role at ColinKurtis? (job title and brief description) I’m an Account Director within the account management group working with a Chicago nutrition client, and with various internal teams.
What does a typical day look like? A typical day begins with looking at my calendar to see what meetings I have for the day. In addition to ensuring I am prepared for those meetings, I assess which client needs to address that day, which deadlines are coming up, and then get to work. For any given day that may be following up with the creative team to see if they are on track with deliverables, developing a creative brief or reaching out to the client to get feedback on creative.
What part of your role do you enjoy the most? I enjoy collaborating with clients and internal teams to meet and exceed outlined goals and objectives. It’s also gratifying seeing the outcome of the work put in by the team combined with great results.
Can you tell us a little about your professional background? I have both B2C and B2B experience working at small and big Chicago agencies in account management.
How do you enjoy spending your time outside the office? Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, watching my kids participate in various sports and traveling as much as possible.
What did you want to be when you grew up (before you knew you would have a career in marketing)? I thought becoming a pharmacist and helping people feel better was for me. After college, I realized that being behind a counter no longer interested me once I had my first job in advertising. I figured out that working together with people that have a common goal was my calling, so here I am many years later.
