What is your new role at ColinKurtis?
I am a new Account Manager at ColinKurtis Advertising.
What does a typical day look like?
My typical day consists of communicating and meeting with clients, internal creative and digital teams and other members of the account team—all while making sure projects stay on track.
What part of your role do you enjoy the most?
I love getting to work with so many different people internally and externally.
Can you tell us a little about your professional background?
I earned my degree in Journalism, Advertising and Media Studies with an emphasis on Advertising and Public Relations from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. After graduation, I was a marketing coordinator for an MLB team before becoming the director of events for a local event venue, and then went on to work as a marketing manager for a food delivery company before starting with CK in November 2022.
How do you enjoy spending your time outside the office?
Outside of the office, I spend most of my time with my son, my husband and our dog. We love eating, drinking and cheering on our favorite sports teams with our family and friends.
What did you want to be when you grew up (before you knew you would have a career in marketing)?
As a kid, I always wanted to be a teacher and manage my own dance studio when I grew up. As I got older that shifted to being a sports sideline reporter, and then I ultimately realized I could use my creativity and love for people to work in marketing.
