What is your new role at ColinKurtis?
My new role at CK is Account Manager.
What does a typical day look like?
I start the day by pouring myself a cup of coffee and maybe a trip to the gym. Then the day really begins by checking my calendar and seeing what the day has in store for meetings. Next, I look over my checklist and adjust it as needed, keeping up with the day-to-day tasks and making sure our projects are on target for both the client and internal team.
What part of your role do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy building new relationships with clients and seeing them get excited about the final project our team created.
Can you tell us a little about your professional background?
I have approximately seven years of account and project management experience. Besides the advertising industry, I have also worked in the construction and medical fields.
How do you enjoy spending your time outside the office?
Other than spending time with my family, I love the warmer part of the year and all the activities it brings—being outside, taking the dog for a walk, boating, trying new restaurants.
What did you want to be when you grew up (before you knew you would have a career in marketing)?
I always knew I wanted to be in some type of business role. However, for a split second in college, I thought about being a teacher. After taking a course, I instantly knew that was not the career for me.
